At Wild Thang we love all things big, huge, massive related to products we sell, given the very rainy weekend I think this one may have come in really handy. Check out the world's largest umbrella with some supersized dimensions 14.4 meters (47.2 feet) high & diameter of 23 meters (75.5 feet) when opened & weighing in a 5.7 tons. Maybe just as impressive is the fact it can open and close like any other standard sized umbrellas. Manufactured by a company in China's eastern province of Jiangxi.

UMBRELLAS

We think this image is just a fantastic example of merchandise in action but it is literally so much more. Over the past weekend approx 1.3 million people flooded into the streets of Liverpool to get a glimpse of the incredible Giant spectacular & without the volunteers shown in this photograph it simply would not have been possible. All of those individuals gave up there time for free to keep the crowds safe and in good spirits so families could enjoy this once in a lifetime very special cultural event. 

We simply love it when people share their branded merchandise in action on social media, in this case saluting the volunteers fantastic work. This is a great example of branded corporate promotional clothing so those volunteers could stand out from the crowd with that all important coordinated physical branding approach making them highly visible from a safety point of view within very busy and crowded areas.

Aptly named ‘Liverpool’s Dream’, it is expected to attract over a million visitors to Liverpool.

Well what a weekend it was in Brighton for the Paddy Power Champions League of Darts tournament! Plenty of action over the 4 sessions and some great darts.

We were delighted & proud to have supplied the amazing merchandise which gave the event a real X Factor on the BBC, from the bespoke pantone matched wigs along with plenty of iconic Lucky Pants and of course the Winners/Runners Up trophies!
