This year they went virtual due to the impact of Covid-19 and it was streamed live on a dedicated You Tube channel on the 10TH of November which was fantastic. This enabled deserving shortlisted nominees to receive some much needed publicity highlighting the very best in the hospitality, event and tourism industry which we know has been very hard hit.

Andrew Dwerryhouse Wild Thang Managing Director commented: “After many years of supporting this fantastic and prestigious event it was great to hear that it was still going ahead with an innovative virtual awards ceremony adapting in the face of the Corona Virus Pandemic. On the evening we were proud to announce Liverpool Gin Distillery as the winners of the Pub Of The Year Category, big congratulations to their whole team, it is such a fantastic & innovative venue.

This year Wild Thang produced the awards for the event & while it has been an incredibly challenging year for so many businesses it’s probably never been more important to support each other wherever, however and whenever you can so we can all survive & thrive.“
