On the 22nd April it was World Earth Day, which this year is themed around investing in our planet. It is one of our big commitments as a company to promote more sustainable product choices and to encourage others to consider the long-term effect of our choices. We personally want a World Earth Year 2022 and our own commitment to long-term sustainability is reinforced by our clear ethical and green trading policies, ISO14001 and Sedex accreditations.

Investing internally with the fitting of electric charging points in our car park and a number of electric vehicles already in our fleet, we have LED auto switch off lights throughout WT HQ. This, along with recycling facilities throughout the building, are just a few of the steps we are making with the aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.

We are proud to have been official sponsor for what was our first face to face exhibition since restrictions eased and it was amazing to get back to what we do best in the home of Liverpool Football Club on Tuesday 12th October. Our very own merchandise in action was on show on Sunday 10th February on and off the pitch with our pop up shop at the AJ Bell Stadium for the first in a series of games we will be attending throughout the season which will extend our 24/7 web shop solution to the fans on match day. It was certainly a cold and breezy one with that wind whipping in from the Manchester Ship Canal! It was great to meet so many fans who loved the merchandise with the big sellers on the day being the new Kappa 2019 home and away replica shirts, the Kappa player polo and the retro bobble hat, but top sales item on the day was the new Red Devils fan scarf, knitted to a high definition quality and an absolute must to keep that chill off you.

The lads on the pitch certainly went hard & did their best to keep the fans warm making it 2 W’s from 2 games and currently sitting top of Super League after a 24-0 victory over London Broncos. Well this just simply had to be this week’s Wild Thang Merchandise. It was a record breaking year for BBC Children In Need this year raising over £50 million which is simply incredible. Congratulations to all those who participated and all those people that gave up their time & got involved for such a worthy cause.

I can’t think of a better example of a charity campaign that has taken merchandise to their heart and placed it centrally to all their fundraising campaigns. We are happy to report the project was a big success raising a significant amount of money for Jamie’s 23 foundation & created excellent social media interaction & PR publicity. CASE STUDIES

Well what a weekend it was in Brighton for the Paddy Power Champions League of Darts tournament! Plenty of action over the 4 sessions and some great darts.

We were delighted & proud to have supplied the amazing merchandise which gave the event a real X Factor on the BBC, from the bespoke pantone matched wigs along with plenty of iconic Lucky Pants and of course the Winners/Runners Up trophies!
