Team Wild Thang wanted to wish good luck to the butcher, the barber, the candlestick maker and of course, the bar tender, much luck as reopening gets into full swing. Along with all the other measures we have already put in place we are taking extra precautions for the safety of our staff, suppliers and clients at Wild Thang.

All visitors must wear a mask or face covering to enter,

sanitise their hands, sign in, keep 2m apart and have their temperature taken, we also have desk screens in reception.

We will continue to be vigilant during the Winter months to protect each other so we can get back to some normality, until then, stay safe.

Wild Thang have been 100% open for business throughout the corona virus outbreak working remotely & working hard throughout that time for our clients. Like many businesses in the UK it’s a worrying time, our sales have understandably slowed, but we are now starting to create a little momentum with the easing of the lockdown rules.

Taking it step by step, we are open across all areas of the business including manufacturing & starting to reintroduce some of our amazing team.

It’s critically important that our employees, clients and suppliers know we are a Covid Secure Workplace so we are taking many extra precautions which include:

• Several hygiene stations fitted in the offices and production warehouse.

• A one way system through the building.

• Signage throughout the premises.

• Face covering snoods and personal hand sanitisers for all staff.

• Hand wash, Hand gels and wipes in rest areas.

• Extra contract cleaning in all areas.

• Split lunch & rest breaks to minimise numbers in rest areas.

All done to ensure that our amazing team’s health and safety is at the forefront of our minds. Wild Thang cannot wait to be back up to full strength and doing what we do best for our clients & partners.

WE HAVE OFFICIALLY BROKEN GROUND FOR THE MAJOR RE-DEVELOPMENT OF WILD THANG WHICH WILL LAST UNTIL DECEMBER 2019

The development at Wild Thang has now begun which is a very exciting time for the company. Like any major development it will come with its challenges as the development progresses.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that the development may create for all clients but we are very confident in the long term we will be much improved as a company both physically and organisationally so we can improve the delivery of products and services, which is all aimed at providing that world class client customer service experience.

ACCESS CHANGES FOR ALL CLIENTS WHO WORK WITH WILD THANG

New Goods In and Out entrance & Car Park plan graphic clearly explaining the changes happening.

Wild Thang Parking Changes – Car park is now located off Bedford place. Unfortunately throughout the development period there will now be very limited parking access for any clients when visiting Wild Thang’s premises. If there is no space we advise to either park on Bedford Place or Ensor Street but there are a number of adjacent roads that may have spaces available. Alternative means such as public transport should also be considered.

Wild Thang Goods In and Out - For larger deliveries and pickups will now be off Bedford place and as you turn directly into the Wild Thang Carpark you will see the Goods In and Out entrance shutter directly in front of you.

Wild Thang Reception - When visiting Wild Thang, the only access point for clients or the public is through our reception located on Derby Road, this has not been affected at this current time.

Wild Thang Health and Safety - Please take care when in and around the working environment of the development at Wild Thang. Do not enter under any circumstances into the contractors fenced off areas, these are live working environments so can be dangerous. Should you see any dangerous behaviour by the contractor that could impact any individual please inform any Wild Thang member of staff immediately.

We want you to know that we genuinely appreciate all of the client business that you have sent Wild Thang's way over the years and you are all an incredibly important part of Wild Thang’s story both past, present & future.

We can’t wait to share our exciting plans for the future of Wild Thang & you should expect an invite to the official launch at some point in December 2019

At Wild Thang we love all things big, large, huge, massive related to products we sell. Now the clocks have gone back its cold & dark out there so really important to stay safe and highly visible on the roads. So I just had to share this great achievement by a school in Northampton who secured its places in the record books.

More than 1,500 pupils at Abbeyfield School flooded onto the playground to set a new world record for the number of high visibility vests worn in one place. We love it when awareness is raised around what is a genuine safety issue that faces all school kids & adults at winter time. Wild Thang has a great range of hi visibility such as hi viz vests, jackets, t-shirts, clothing & even smaller reflective merchandise items.
