Wild Thang are proud of supporting the first ever Football For Change Gala which took place on Saturday 13th November 2021 at The Titanic Hotel Liverpool with over 450 in attendance, the evening was a huge success raising more than £250,000 for the new foundation.

Hosted by Westlife star Nicky Byrne with sensational performances from Pixie Lott and M People's Heather Small, while the truly iconic music legend Sir Rod Stewart, Jamie Carragher, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Russell Howard entertained the audience with on stage questions and answers. This is another incredible feel good factor moment for the team to support the inaugural Football For Change Foundations gala dinner. We are proud to have produced the foundations branded merchandise, gala programs and photo backdrop and it’s not every day that your logo gets snapped along rock star royalty Rod Stewart.

Also supported by lots of professional footballers, we know it was much more than just a photo opportunity and when we heard that the dinner had raised £250,000 we knew that the foundation was well on its way to making a difference in a lot of younger people’s lives which is the exact reason we got involved in the first place.

Like many companies across the UK when the pandemic struck as a business we were hit hard so it was fantastic to see this type of event returning and being in a position to support.

Maybe it’s time for a Merry Eco Christmas. This year we highlight a number of innovative products that are all about reusability sustainability and recyclability which include a straw for life collapsible coffee cup and a drawstring tote bag made in part of recycled cotton and plastic bottles! At Wild Thang we take sustainability very seriously as part of our CSR and that’s why we are highlighting innovative products that offer reusability sustainability and recyclability which is a whole lot of ability to try and make even a little difference.

It’s the last straw and this should be your one for life going forward simply hang it on your bag or keys and never have to use a single use straw ever again plus at the end of its life the majority of this product is good to be recycled all over again.

Collapsible drinks cup - not only is this a unique product it’s also compact. Next time you are in Starbucks instead of taking a disposable cup simply ask them to fill up your cup. There are quite a few coffee and tea addicts out there so it would not be unusual to have 2 to 3 cups a day and if they use one of the coffee chains that would mean 3 x 365 = 1095 per year! Now that’s a whole lot of disposable cups saved.
