So where do we start when it comes to looking back on 2021?

Well we think now more than ever it has to start with a big, huge, massive thank you! Not only to our incredible clients, every order placed has meant so much this year, but also a special nod to our fantastic suppliers, we know having a stable supply chain is central to Wild Thang being able to deliver our world class service.

A big, big thank you to the whole Wild Thang team for their commitment and dedication in helping us achieve so much in 2021, even with the challenges we have continued to make fantastic progress as a team and company, our Liverpool Chamber of Commerce International Award really did top off our year.

We are now back to pre Covid trading and we should all be especially proud for not only retaining every staff member throughout Covid restrictions, but now we are in fact growing our team and believe 2022 will be our biggest and best ever.

Christmas is the time when we can all make a difference which is why this year our festive themed Christmas jumper day  we raised money for the John Haynes Foundation which is very closeto Wild Thangs heart, with our team having known John before his passing both personally and professionally.

The foundation itself is focused on delivering professional coaching and mentoring, helping individuals build resilience so they can realise their own potential and ‘Fly With The Eagles’. Our cake sale, raffle and best Chrimbo jumper competition raised a total of £400 so we’d like to thank our generous staff for contributing and helping make these donations possible, you’re the best.

Our final little bit of Christmas cheer was to encourage our team to donate food items to help those less fortunate so this year we delivered to the fantastic Fans Supporting Food Banks Initiative just before we finished for our festive shutdown. Hopefully you can see we take our CSR seriously as a company and its our Wild Thang way ethos that means we will always try and make a difference in society and our community.

We are in the business of providing world class branded clothing and print, we also place our CSR responsibilities central to our company and teams culture that’s why this year the gifts we will be sending to our own clients will be very much focused on sustainability with a message wishing everyone a merry sustainable Christmas. We want you to know a big part of our company vision for the next 10 years will be focused on sustainability and as one of the key components we will be aiming to be carbon neutral by 2030.

Wild Thang are still an SME and know this will be a step by step process, but if we can inspire others to do the same as we know many small changes by many people can make a world changing difference!

Just so you know we will be avoiding all single plastic use and throwaway products so we have created a sustainability message and made sure it’s located on each product we have gifted to our clients as a reminder so when it says on the product Use Me Reuse Me Recycle Me we want you to make sure you keep this product as long as possible or even a lifetime so even when it starts to look a little worn out or scruffy, please keep a little while longer or re-purpose until completely kaput.

In the future as we continue to grow as a company we plan to make sure all the amazing branded clothing merchandise and print we produce are coming from sustainable sources, this will be formally announced in January 2022 along with some more great initiatives all related to future sustainability.
