We have recently held our Wild Thang Aloha Summer Social and it was nothing short of spectacular! The event took place on the rooftop of our Wild Thang HQ, which transformed into our Hawaiian theme. The decorations were vibrant, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was electric. Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, we did not let it damp our Tikki Tikki spirits with plenty of positive team excitement & energy.

Our Hawaiian-themed party brought together our incredible team and friends for a night of fun and celebration. Our rooftop terrace was decorated with tropical decorations, setting the perfect scene for our festivities. The bar was stocked with refreshing cocktails and drinks, the barbecue was smoking hot with a range of mouthwatering food options and the DJ kept the music flowing through the night, ensuring everyone was on their feet and having a blast.

One of the highlights of the evening was our best Hawaiian shirt competition, everyone brought their A-game, showcasing an array of colourful and creative shirts that added to the festive vibe. The competition brought out the best in everyone to have some Hawaiian themed fun, making it a tough decision for the judges but a decision had to be made and fantastic efforts Dot and Darren, many congratulations on winning best dressed .

We also had an ice cream treat in the afternoon in preparation for the night ahead! Jemsie's Ice Cream van arrived at Wild Thang to provide a range of amazing ice cream options for our team, it was the perfect pre-event treat and we all thank Jemsie's for coming to Wild Thang HQ.

This summer social was a well-deserved celebration of our achievements so far in 2024. We have had an incredible year so far, winning prestigious Downtown In Business Chief Executive’s Award and nominated as finalists in three categories at the Liverpool Chamber Of Commerce Innovation Awards. Our team's relentless hard work and dedication is truly paying off and this event was the perfect way to recognise and celebrate our whole team’s efforts regardless of position or role, everyone is making a difference.

In addition to celebrating our successes, the staff socials  are also a really important  opportunity to welcome new team members into the Wild Thang family and celebrate long service milestones, this time the whole team raised a glass to a decade of service from Paul who works in our packing and finishing department, we can’t thank him enough for his contribution and commitment over the many years to the team and company, it is truly ‘The Wild Thang Way’.

Of course these amazing events don’t happen by themselves and there are a number of companies and individuals to thank who helped make our rooftop Aloha Hawaiian Themed Summer social so special,  internally thanks to our Wild Thang social events maestro Carrie & team, externally the wonderful creative Balloons by Shannel, vibrant drinks provided by Opulence Mobile Bars, delicious food delivered by Carlisi, amazing DJ playlist and vibes by Gary Garamendi, we would highly recommended them all should you ever have a requirement.

With our international expansion efforts seeing great progress and our continued efforts in our commitment to sustainability we are sure there will be even more good news and team announcements at the next event, but for now  this summer social was simply a great way for everyone to take time to relax, reflect, have fun as a team & celebrate our combined successes and achievements together!
