Wild Thang is thrilled to announce the launch of our Pride 2024 branded clothing, merchandise and print campaign! This year, we are celebrating love, acceptance, and equality with a vibrant collection and a renewed commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community. Our pride flag was raised once again at Wild Thang HQ at the start of Pride Month, symbolising our unwavering support and solidarity.

• Pride 2024 will be celebrated in over 150 countries, with millions participating in parades, festivals, and events worldwide.
• The London Pride Parade is expected to attract over 1.5 million attendees, making it one of the largest Pride celebrations in the world.
• Many Pride events in 2024 are committed to sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly practices such as recycling programs, biodegradable decorations, and encouraging the use of public transport.
• 2024 marks significant anniversaries for LGBTQIA+ rights, such as the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, which will be commemorated with special events and reflections on progress made since 1969.
• The first UK Pride event was held in London on July 1, 1972, with around 2,000 participants marching from Trafalgar Square to Hyde Park.
Wild Thang Pride Flag Raising
Last year we raised the Pride flag for the first time, which we wanted to be a powerful gesture to signify our dedication to diversity and inclusion and we are proud to continue this tradition in 2024. It fills our team with Pride that once again the flag will be flying high throughout June at Wild Thang HQ as a reminder that there is still work to be done to ensure equality for all.
1969 Stonewall Uprising
Pride has a rich history in the UK, dating back to the first official march in 1972. This movement was inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a pivotal event in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. Today, Pride is a global celebration of love and diversity, reminding us of the ongoing struggle for equality.
