The atmosphere was incredible with the excitement of like-minded individuals all dedicated to making a positive impact on the world by being fully committed to sustainability and ethical trading with passion and purpose.

We have attended many similar events, and this really was one of the best with wonderful presenters, spectacular entertainment, fantastic food, expert event organisation and of course a room filled inspiring speeches, networking opportunities and a shared passion for sustainable business practices. It was wonderful to connect with other businesses that are equally dedicated to driving positive change and the Hilton Deansgate provided a stunning backdrop for the event, adding to the overall sense of celebration and purpose.

We extend our big congratulations to all the winners and finalists, it was wonderful seeing the awards we produced being presented to all deserving winners, but the highlight of our evening was presenting the beautifully crafted wooden award to the winner of the Industry Champion for Retail, Booker Flowers & Gifts, congratulations to all their team, your commitment to sustainability and ethical practices really did shine through.

Once upon a time we were supported by the Princes Trust & this is our 28^th year in business so we know first-hand just how challenging it can be to run a small business, so to see all these businesses so committed to creating a better future has left us feeling just as inspired as last year when we officially announced Wild Thang’s own long term sustainability pledge.

Our involvement in the Good Small Business Awards is driven by our own deep commitment and we have made a significant amount of progress over the last year through our 8-stage sustainability pledge highlights include planting 55,619 trees & saving 1,348.56 tonnes of CO2.

Post Awards Celebrations 

By investing in carbon avoidance projects which is equivalent to the carbon emissions from 1,035 long-haul flight & recently submitting our B-Corp certification application, we are steadfast on our journey towards creating a positive environmental and social impact which has in part been inspired by all the businesses involved in this great event.
