The brief focused on capturing the nostalgic theme, "I had my birthday party at McDonald's," to evoke fond memories and connect with customers of all ages. The merchandise needed to be fun, engaging, and reflective of the brand's iconic heritage, appealing to both long-time fans and new generations.

SOLUTION

Wild Thang's solution for McDonald's 50th anniversary celebration featured a striking range of clothing and merchandise that embraced a retro theme and highlighted beloved original characters like Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie. The collection included eye-catching bomber jackets, vintage denim jackets with distressed branding, oversized scrunchies, backpacks, bumbags, button badges, and various headwear.
