A Night to Remember at the Livercool Awards 2024

Wild Thang was proud to be an official sponsor and attend the Downtown in Business Livercool Awards 2024, held at the elegant Crowne Plaza Liverpool. This annual celebration highlights the incredible achievements of entrepreneurs, business leaders and individuals who contribute to the growth of the Liverpool City Region economy and live up to its ethos of ‘work hard, play hard.’

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was fantastic, with attendees dressed to impress and ready to toast the success of Liverpool’s brightest entrepreneurial talents. The Crowne Plaza, with its stylish interior and impeccable hospitality, provided the perfect backdrop for the evening. Following the awards ceremony, the festivities continued at the vibrant Gaucho Bar & Restaurant, where an exciting after party kept the celebrations alive late into the night.

We were particularly proud to sponsor the prestigious ‘Female Networker of the Year’ award. Supporting outstanding women in business is a cause close to our hearts, and this year’s winner, Michelle Eager of Krol Corlett, truly exemplifies what it means to be a leader and connector in Liverpool’s thriving business landscape. Her contributions to fostering meaningful professional relationships are inspiring, and we are honoured to have been part of celebrating her personal success.

Adding to the excitement, our Managing Director, Andrew Dwerryhouse, was nominated for the ‘Male Networker of the Year’ award. While the honour went to the deserving Brian Churchill of INNSiDE by Meliá and a highly commended award went to our good friend Conor Roberts from Sedulo. After 28 years in business, Andrew’s nomination underscores his personal dedication to supporting and championing the Liverpool City Region's business community. The Downtown team did an outstanding job organising and delivering the Livercool Awards, now in its 22nd year it is widely known as the biggest business party of the year.
