Wild Thang's Expo and Building Launch was a massive success and our team couldn't be happier with the outcome! The excitement in the air was palpable as over 200+ customers from 80+ different companies attended our event from across the UK & Ireland.
This is a moment our team have waited for since we decided to undertake our £2 Million development back in May 2019 to create a world-class HQ and manufacturing hub. There were many delays and challenges to get to this point due to COVID and Brexit, so to be able to finally welcome some of our amazing clients and partners was a really special moment which is probably even bigger than last year’s Liverpool Chamber of Commerce ‘Business Of The Year Award’.

Our customers were treated to a fabulous breakfast and lunch in our cool kitchen rest area before embarking on a tour of the building, where they were able to see our world-class production facilities and every department in action. That's not all - they also had the chance to get inspired and check out 14 trade supplier tables displaying the latest innovative branding clothing and merchandise, which was a huge hit!

We are thrilled that people from across the country got to visit Wild Thang HQ and see in person how our team works to produce at an industry-leading level in a world-class modern facility. The turnout was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better response.
Wild Thang Screen Print Tour
One of the highlights of the event was the tour of our state-of-the-art production facility. Customers were able to meet our team of experts that have a combined specialist industry experience of over 250+ years. Clients were treated to see firsthand the love and passion that goes into each order of branding and print in action using cutting-edge technology and machinery we use to produce high-quality uniforms, garments, corporate gifts and promotional merchandise items. From our screen printing and embroidery machines to our laser engravers and digital printers, attendees were impressed with the level of world-class precision and efficiency we are able to achieve.

Both Andrew Dwerryhouse Managing Director and Sarah Howarth Commercial Sales Director gave a detailed and educational presentation that gave all visitors an overview of our £2 million development journey, making sure everyone was fully aware of the attention to detail and passion when designing the development, which was all focused on creating a world-class environment for our amazing team so they could deliver world-class quality work for our clients.

It was great to be able to showcase some of the amazing global brands we are working with & then highlight 12 reasons why to trust Wild Thang? This gives an in-depth understanding of what makes us world-class, one of the really big moments was to fully share our new in-depth sustainability pledge, which was launched at the Good Small Business Awards, Pledge 1 was our commitment to become Net Zero by 2030.

We then shared some of the latest market research that highlights the most searched products and shows that the demand for more sustainable products was growing year on year and we wanted to be the company that was fully focused on making a sustainable difference on behalf of our team and clients. Part of this explained that we would be planting trees for every order received and on behalf of our team which means we will have planted circa 40K of trees for the year ahead.

As branded clothing, merchandise and print experts there just had to be a high-quality merchandise goody bag containing some really innovative products, many of which had sustainable credentials, we also included our new 2023 brochure which has more sustainable or eco products than ever before and is another important part of our sustainability pledge.

Wild Thang Goodie Bags Which Included Many Sustainable
It was important to give an insight into all the certifications we have put in place over the last two decades which now places us in the top 1-3% of the most certified companies in the UK, which is yet another part of why to trust Wild Thang. We then went on to give a reminder of the products and services we provide and how we deliver one world-class solution to our clients which included global distribution, logistics, digital corporate shops and e-commerce solutions to a number of global clients in the UK, Europe and North America with the opening of our new office in New Jersey USA.
Wild Thang Supply Partner Showcasing Innovative Products
We finally touched on what’s new, our ongoing investment across Wild Thang in the latest technology, state of the art manufacturing equipment to the value of circa 250K and also our continued investment in our HQ and manufacturing hub with the installation of solar panels to our roof. We are creating more energy than we will be using which will again help us reach our target of becoming carbon neutral by 2030. The new website will be launched over the coming months and we will be investing in a new warehouse over the next year that will help sustain our big growth plans over the coming years.

In addition to the production area, customers were able to tour each department and meet with members of our team. This provided a unique opportunity for our clients to get to know us on a personal level and understand our commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Many attendees commented on how impressed they were with our team's knowledge and expertise in the industry.
Wild Thang Supplier Room Tour
After the tour, customers collected their goodie bags from reception and left the building, making way for the next session and let's not forget the Bean hot drink truck in the car park for the two days, which was a great addition for those who needed a caffeine boost. We really went all out to make sure our customers had an incredible experience!
