St Hilda's High School recently organised a relay challenge that brought together 61 staff members to run from the summit of Moel Famau to the Great Orme in Llandudno. This feat of endurance and determination illustrates the unwavering spirit of the St Hilda's High School community. Each participant played a vital role in supporting one another, creating an environment where the collective strength of the team shone through.
Through the support and generosity of the community, St Hilda's High School challenge raised an astounding £8080. With all proceeds going to Ahead Of The Game Foundation. This tremendous sum will enable the charity to continue providing vital rehabilitation and support services to individuals facing the daunting impact of a cancer diagnosis. The success of the fundraising campaign demonstrates the power of collective action and the genuine desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
The highlight of the challenge was Ahead Of The Games inspirational founder Dave Bolton's remarkable participation with a 20km run on one of the route legs, symbolizing him as a truly inspirational individual. Dave’s story is one of triumph over adversity. As a cancer survivor who surpassed not one but two terminal brain cancer prognoses, he stands as a beacon of hope for others and the foundation he represents is focused on supporting other people just when they need it most.
The dedication and resilience displayed by the participants were truly inspiring so the team at Wild Thang could not be prouder to be a part of supporting such an impactful event which will go on to help others so much. We absolutely loved seeing the design our talented graphics team created for this fundraising event and of course the branded hoodies, T-shirts and headbands our team produced inhouse, it is always so satisfying to see our world class branding in action.
