THE CLIENT:
Sky Betting & Gaming are a leading online sports gambling company. Based at their Leeds offices, they offer an online service which also comes in the form of phone and tablet apps. Sky Bet are also the lead sponsor of the English Football League.
THE BRIEF:
Requirement to create a bespoke award trophy for the Player and Manager of the Month for Sky Bet who are the official sponsor for the EFL. To produce bespoke magnums and jeroboams of champagne for the successful promotion team for presentation display purposes, on pitch and dressing room celebrations. Creating the best possible photographic opportunity to make sure the Sky Bet brand looked as high profile as possible in as many national newspapers but also across all social media platforms.
THE RESULTS:
After looking carefully at the brief we worked closely with the Sky Bet senior team to develop, design and produce a standout, high quality individual award that positioned the Sky Bet brand central to the shape of the design, this would be critical when holding the award and also placed in the trophy cabinet. The same detail was applied to the bespoke champagne, the Wild Thang design team worked through a process of innovative design, creative layouts, approval stage from both Sky Bet and the EFL, sampling stage, creating pre-production samples for further approval, and only then moving to full production. We also delivered the logistics solutions, warehousing, tracking and at times delivering a same day service using the in-house Wild Thang delivery team. As far as the outcome is concerned, we had very happy clients and we really do think the images speak for themselves.
